Who's The Father Of Michael Jackson's Children?

Michael Jackson's mate Mark Lester - the former child star of Oliver! - has claimed he is the biological father of the King of Pop's daughter Paris.

But Jackson's family lawyer says this isn't true and Jacko was the real father.

Confused? How do you think the kids feel?

Lester told the News of the World this weekend that he donated sperm to Jacko in 1996 and is happy to take a paternity test to prove his claims.

He said: "It's been a secret for so long. Michael asked me if I would give him my sperm and I said yes.

"It was a gift to him, no money was paid, it was something I was honoured to do. He wanted children so badly."

Lester is godfather to Michael's three children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II, aka Blanket. Apparently Lester's daughter Harriet, 15, looks remarkably like Paris.

The Oliver! star had never even told his wife and family of the sperm donation but said he was coming forward now because he wanted to be a part of the children's lives.

He said: "With Michael's mother, Katherine, now their legal guardian it's like the kids are being isolated. Up until Michael's memorial I was in touch with them on a weekly basis.

"I'm the godparent to them and Michael was godparent to all my four kids.

"Our two families spent a lot of time together, and had a lot fun together. Now I'm not able to have any communication with the children. This isn't what Michael would have wanted."

After these claims, I'm not sure Jacko's family is going to be any more keen to let Lester near the kids. This could turn very messy indeed.

Jackson's lawyer Brian Oxman told GMTV: "The thing I always heard from Michael was that Michael was the father of these children, and I believe Michael." Okay then...
