Jude Law Stays Away From His Child, There's A Baby On The Ugly Betty Set, And There's Another Grey's Anatomy Tot

Jude Law is unlikely to see his new baby for at least three months, it has been reported.

Baby Sophia was born earlier this week to his former lover, model Samantha Burke.

Jude has pledged to be a supportive father but a friend told the Telegraph he would not be visiting his daughter any time soon.

"Sadly, Jude will not be able to see Sophia until he finishes work on Hamlet on Broadway in December," said the friend.

Apparently he's worried about sparking a media circus in Florida, where Samantha lives.

He should have thought about that before really, shouldn't he?

Meanwhile, over on the set of Ugly Betty, the cast and crew are having to get used to Ana Ortiz's new baby.

Apparently the actress, who plays Hilda Suarez on the show, brings her three-month-old daughter Paloma to work and breastfeeds her between takes.

She told People: "The team will be, like, 'Uh, Ana, do you need a break?' And I'll be like, 'What are you guys looking at?!'"

Good for her. It's nice to see a celeb flying the flag for breastfeeding.

Another US TV show, Grey's Anatomy, is having a mini baby boom all of its own, with actress Ellen Pompeo giving birth to add to Katherine Heigl's adopted baby girl from Korea.

Ellen, who plays Dr Meredith Grey on the series, has had a daughter, Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery.

She has previously spoken about how much a baby would change her life, telling Allure magazine last year: "It's a huge lifestyle change, and I take that very seriously."

"[Chris and I] enjoy our life so much. We go to Europe and sleep in. So when I have the baby, I won't feel like we've missed any fun, reckless times together, like staying up all night drinking champagne and having sex until five in the morning and not having to get up until two in the afternoon."

Yeah. I hope she did plenty of that, because it won't happen again for a while. Like 18 years or so...
