Elton Told He Can't Have Ukrainian Baby, Jude Law Is Definitely A Dad Again, And Nicole Richie Loses Baby Weight In Two Weeks

Sir Elton John has been told "hands off my baby" by the mother of the Ukrainian child he wanted to adopt.

Elton said last month that he planned to adopt a 15-month-old boy called Lev from a Ukrainian orphanage.

He was placed there because his mother, Marina, is HIV positive.

But now she says she will never give her baby up and wants to raise him herself.

The 25-year-old told the Sun newspaper: "I will not give my baby to Elton John for any money."

She said: "I understand Elton's feelings. Lev is a very sunny and cheerful boy. It's impossible not to love him.

"But I'm going to overcome my problems. I so much want my babies back."

Elton has also been told by Ukrainian authorities that he is too old and not married.

For the kid's sake, I wish he'd kept his mouth shut on his visit to that orphanage.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Jude Law is definitely the father of model Samantha Burke's baby.

Apparently DNA tests have confirmed that he is the daddy.

The actor had reportedly been refusing to see the baby, Sophia, until the results were in.

Now it looks like he'll have to start forking out...

So did Nicole Richie actually have a baby, then? It's pretty hard to believe from the latest pictures.

The Simple Life star only gave birth a few weeks ago and she's already skinnier than most of us have been since we were about 10.

She has been pictured wearing a black silk playsuit which only the incredibly thin could get away with.

I'm starting to suspect that she was never actually pregnant in the first place. It seems so unlikely.

But I'm assured she did actually give birth on September 9 to a 7lbs 14oz baby boy, who they have called Sparrow James Midnight Madden. That's her second baby, by the way.

She's either blessed with an incredible metabolism or she hasn't eaten since the birth. Which surely isn't possible.

I thought it was normal to want to eat vast amounts of chocolate and cake after giving birth. Perhaps that was just me.
