The Wean Machine: Making Weaning A Little Easier

The Wean Machine: Making Weaning A Little Easier

See the gadget on the right? On first glance, I thought this was a bright and slightly more complicated garlic crusher. I spotted it at The Baby Show on Friday, and popped over after seeing a crowd building up around the stall.

The garlic crusher turned out to be a product called the Wean Machine. This hand held gadget claims to be able to help your baby through the stages of weaning, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it actually worked quite well!

All you have to do is pop the food you want to feed your baby into the little bowl, and choose the suitable grill. Then simply squeeze the handles together to puree the food to the desired consistency, and feed your baby with the attached food directly from the bowl.

What are the benefits of this product?

The Wean Machine has several benefits. Firstly, you can choose what food you wish to feed your child. It's a great way to make sure you're delivering a healthy and balanced meal and you know exactly what's going into it.

It's a big time saver too, as you can use food from your own adult meal to puree, so no separate cooking of meals.

Hopefully, it will make eating with friends easier too as the highly portable Wean Machine means you can then share your food with your baby. As long as the food is cooked and baby-friendly, it should make your life a bit easier!

The Wean Machine comes with a couple of different size grills, so you can build up the consistency of the food over time. The makers of The Wean Machine even provide recipes for the First Stage (baby food) and then moving on to Stage Two (Weaning)

I'll admit that I thought this was a bit of a gimmick at first, but the product did successfully puree the food and it's dishwasher safe so you can bung it in there after lunch.

What do you think? Would you use it?
