A school in New Jersey has come under fire after instructing male students as young as eight-years-old to arrive at school in female clothes for a cross-dressing fashion show.
The school, Maude Wilkins Elementary, sent home letters to parents asking that they dress their sons up in outfits including cheerleading uniforms and poodle skirts. The move was designed to mark Women's History Month, but caused such outrage that the fashion show was eventually cancelled.
