Families Get To See Shrek Forever After A Month Early

The fourth Shrek film has been a long time coming for many of us, but families will get a sneak peek at the film a whole month before everyone else!

As part of National Family Week, Shrek Forever After in 3D will be shown in two viewings across 63 Vue cinemas. This nationwide event takes place on Tuesday 1 June, a month ahead of the general release on July 2nd.

Londoners will be the first to get a peek at the film, in the flagship cinema in Westfield. Tickets are available now on myvue.com, and more information can be found on the National Family Week website.

If you haven't caught the trailers yet, you can have a look on the official site. Prepare yourself for a kick ass version of Fiona, a whole host of Shrek lookalikes and a very chubby Puss in Boots.

The Film Day is part of a series of 5,000 events happening during National Family Week, which includes plenty of discounts and offers, like the 50 Family Days Out which helps families spend time together without spending all their savings.

I'm a big Shrek fan, so I'll definitely be heading down to my local Vue cinema to catch this early screening. Will you?
