Kylie Minogue has revealed she may not be able to have children due to the medication she had to take after battling breast cancer.
The singer, who is now 42, says she would love to have children, but she's not sure it will be possible.
Her sister, Dannii, 38, is due to have her first baby next month.
Kylie told news.com.au: "I'd love to have babies, but, it's very hard. Perhaps if you are resolutely sure that is not the path you want to go down, that's ok. But if there is an element of doubt, you can't help but question it. It's not fun."
The former Neighbours actress, who is dating Spanish model Andres Velencoso, says she has been taking medication for the last five years to try to prevent the cancer from returning.
"I still take medication and there are a lot of women who stop taking the medication because they just can't stand the side effects," she told the website.
"You definitely put on weight. I notice it. Weight was never an issue for me. Before I could just eat anything. I'm here and that's what I have to remember when I start to get down about it. All of me is just fleshier now, but my face changed. It filled out, it puffed up with drugs.
"It's not puffed now, but then it was because of the chemotherapy and steroids."
However, she says she has less than a year until she is given the five-year all-clear from the disease.
Kylie says it's a bit of a surprise that Dannii, who was never broody for children, is now having a baby.
"Life's funny isn't it? She's blossomed," said Kylie.
