No autographs please, and fetch me an eggwhite omlette pronto. I spent much of this week in Los Angeles at the E3 video games show, and it seems to be rubbing off.
But I'm back now, which can only mean that it's time to lock up your cider, as the weekly parent blog roundup returns.
I've been home less than eight hours and have already had to tackle two mucky loos, a vat of spaghetti hoops and a washing mountain that's so big, there are campers pitched up on the north face. I knew the LA glamour was too good to last.
A few UK parent bloggers were out there too, and you can follow their adventures online as they bloggd their way round the City of Angels. NotSupermum had a fabulous time with her girls, once they'd negotiated the mahoosive breakfasts. Chez Aspie has had her socks well and truly knocked off by the trip. And Carol from Have a Lovely Time posts her holiday snaps here.
Meanwhile, back in the UK, ParentDish commenters were outraged by the father whose children had to be rescued after he left them in his car in soaring temperatures. He won't be winning any Father of the Year awards. More serious stuff this week for Sian at Mummy Tips , who has been helping her six year old daughter deal with racism.
So to lighten the mood, I leave you with a supercute highlight from E3 - the Toy Story 3 flash mob. I was stood right next to these guys when they did this, but alas did not know the dance and couldn't join in. Next time maybe....
