Ten-Month-Old Baby Tips The Scales At Over THREE Stone

Ten-month-old baby Lei Lei from China has astounded medics with his staggering 3st 1lb bulk - the average weight of a healthy six-year-old.

The tot, who is currently undergoing tests to see if there is a medical reason for his vast size, was a normal weight at birth, but his constant need for food has seen him balloon ever since.

His mother, Cheng Qingyu, says his favourite pastime is eating, and that everything goes straight in his mouth: 'No matter whatever he grabs, he unconsciously puts it in his mouth. His most favourite thing is to eat.'

Despite his size, Lei Lei is not the world's heaviest baby - that title goes to Karan Singh, of Meerut, in India, who weighed 3 stone 7lbs at ten months.
