MAKEUP: Martina Luisetti for MAC

HAIR: Herman Ho for L'Oreal

THE SCOOP: Krystof Strozyna's presentation featured body-con dresses and slim-fitting jackets with zipper detailing, paired with chunky, oversized jewellery. "The tones in the collection are earth tones, and I wanted to highlight the importance of black," Luisetti explained backstage. "Strozyna liked the idea of a mask, so I started thinking about how Bladerunner imagined the future, and wondering what a warrior mask would look like now? This is a stylised, futuristic version of a smoky eye: intriguing, elegant and very machine-like."

Hair was left down and kept slick straight. "The hair was all about being sleek and clean and giving off an attitude," said Ho. "You sweep it back over your ear and leave it smooth with texture over the ends." Ho wanted to make the hair itself an accessory: "We treated the hair like a hair band, but in a natural way."

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: Luisetti used MAC's Black Track liner. "It never lets me down!" she exclaimed. Other than the brick of black makeup, skin was kept very natural and neutral. If you want to create a daring eye, Luisetti suggests applying liner in a square shape instead of following the eye line.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: Ho used L'Oreal Play Setting Lotion to keep hair sleek. To get the look at home, just blow dry with a setting lotion, keeping the hair really close to the scalp.
