NAILS: Barielle

SNAPSHOT: Swinging 60's

THE SCOOP: Inspired by 60's boho-chic model Penelope Tree, Reem Acra's s/s 2010 collection was bold and extravagant, punched up with citron greens, hot pinks and warm oranges. With such a bright palette, the beauty was keyed down, focusing on neutrals for a smoldering, natural look.

"We wanted beautiful, but not big," explained Leonard, who used warm brown and brick shades to pop the eyes. "But luminosity in the skin is essential," she added," which is why we're using an airbrush to apply the foundation very lightly." The hair swung like late 60's London, as Philippon coiled it into tight curls that he'd later finger comb for a more undone look.

And the nail polish, Barielle Without a Stitch, was created for the show by Reem Acra herself. She mixed together two nude shades for a pretty pinky beige to accent the hands without overpowering the clothing.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by Temptu. On eyes, Warm Brown Shadow was tempered with Gold Shadow at inner corners, and Pink Pearl as a softening highlight. Lips were kept neutral and cheeks were contoured with Blush in Peach #42. Skin looked natural and glowing thanks to Temptu's airbrush foundation.
