Betsey Johnson turns decorator to create a Mexican dream house decked out in her signature style
Known for her fun and flirty fashions, the decor of Betsey Johnson's beach house along the Mexican Riviera is just as playful as her designs. Located about half an hour from Ixtapa near Barra de Potosi, a tiny fishing village, the house is decked out in fuschia, turquoise and apple-green chartreuse paint, and wildly patterned fabrics. The colorful house is named Betseyville, which is also the name of her accessories line.

An unusual grouping of five palapas (thatched huts), the property is full of nooks and crannies to relax. Lush, tropical gardens surround two pools (one designed for swimming laps) and a terrace.

Four of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms and all are decorated in full Betsey style. For example, the swanky chandelier, chartreuse walls, floral-patterned curtains and black and white tiled floor seen here are a reflection of Betsey Johnson's apparel and accessories lines.

If there were any doubts about Betsey Johnson's favorite colors, this pretty-in-pink bedroom reveals that she loves all shades of rose. Mosquito nets above the beds are both a decorative and practical touch.
