They're young, they're beautiful, they're talented, one of them was in The Island, and now there's another reason to feel jealous of Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds: The Hollywood power couple have snagged themselves a pretty sweet new pad in LA, the Daily Mail reports.
Rather than a glistening Malibu mansion, the actors' purchase is a funky, '60s-style two-bedroom with wood-panelling, a garden and pool, and floor-to-ceiling windows from which to absorb some spectacular views over the La-La land sprawl. Along with a tree-lined sundeck and an open-plan kitchen, the new Chez ScarJo and Ry Rey comes complete with a £1.8 million price tag.
The A-listers' new abode sits in the hills of Los Angeles' Los Feliz neighbourhood, famous for the Griffith Park Observatory (the scene of James Dean's iconic knife-fight in Rebel Without a Cause) and home to numerous actors and rockstars. Johansson and Reynolds' latest purchase follows the £2.6 million sale of Scarlett's Hollywood Hills villa in February and adds to a property collection that includes an apartment in the Upper East Side of Manhattan and a country house in Louisiana.
