We're just one day into the Venice Film Festival and we're already being treated to some stunning style ensembles. Two of the festival's leading ladies showed signs of serious scarlet fever yesterday - and we have a sneaking suspicion that the trend is spreading. Jessica Alba wore a bold rose print dress by Dolce & Gabbana to a photo call for her new flick Machete. Jessica teamed the floaty frock with some fierce buckled heels for a gorgeous daytime look.

Meanwhile Natalie wore a Rodarte chiffon gown on the red carpet for the premiere of her film Black Swan. Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the designer's behind the Rodarte label, created the costumes for the entire ballet corps in the new film, which is directed by Darren Aronofsky. This is the design duo's first foray into costume design and judging by the stills we've seen so far, Black Swan is set to make us fall in love with tutus all over again.

How do you rate these ladies' looks? Leave a comment below and let us know.
