Renowned courturier and red carpet staple Elie Saab has just made blushing brides-to-be even happier with the announcement that he will be releasing his debut ready-to-wear bridal collection.

The eleven-piece collection will be revealed at the designer's Paris flagship store on 7 September 2010 during Vogue's Fashion's Night Out party. Ranging from full fishtale gowns to bustiers with plunging necklines, the dresses stay true to the feminine elegance and attention to detail that have made him a favourite of stars like Angelina Jolie and Beyoncé.

The gowns - and a selection of tulle veils to accompany them - will go on sale the following day in the designer's Paris, Dubai and Beirut boutiques. But before you rush off to book a last minute Eurostar ticket, take note that the dresses start at €12,000 (about £10,000). A fair bit less than the couture gowns but still a pretty penny.
