WHAT WE THOUGHT: We know from her namesake ready-to-wear line that designer Sophia Kokosalaki can drape a mean dress. And now, it's clear she can create a super cool vintage-feeling downtown collection. Inspired by a trip out West, Kokosalaki dispatched a line-up of earthy, crafty creations: great leather blazers and bombers, suede shorts, and beautifully printed dresses that on the runway flowed like fluid. Her only misstep may have been the heavy boots and leather pants, meaning this could be mistaken for an autumn collection. The pretty prints and way-cool lighter leather jackets, however, will surely put us in a spring mood.
