MAKEUP: Jame Kaliardos at L'Oréal Professional

HAIR: Duffy for Clairol

SNAPSHOT: Matthew Williamson's girl might be shipwrecked but she's not lost her sense of glamour.

THE SCOOP: "The idea is that the girls are shipwrecked, and that means that makeup can't look look too perfect", explains Kaliardos. The result was shimmering skin, with richy sandy eyes lids and cheeks swept with terracotta, as if they had been taking a stroll in the midday sun. Hair is loose, and a bit messy, and scraped off the face for a sense of distressed glamour. "The idea it's a hairdo that has been done perfectly but then has been broken down, rather than being deliberately matted" explains Duffy, "as if they'd just splashed their faces with water".

GET THE LOOK MAKEUP: Nude and pink tones from L'Oreal Paris Studio Secrets lipstick range were worked into the lips, with with L'Oréal Contour Parfait lip pencil in Vintage Rose contour Parfait liner used to keep a natual shape. The sand-swept eyelids were achieved with a stroke L'Oréal's Chrome Intensity Eyeshadow in Cacao.

GET THE LOOK HAIR:Frédéric Fekkai Coiff Straightening was worked into the ends of the hair to give it a broken texture, and then Sebastian Volupt Spray is worked into the front of the hair to create lift. "We're not using any brushes," says Duffy, "we're just drying it off the face".
