Stropper's room: 19.00hrs. End of Stropper's day. Stropper attempting to explain which good night story acceptable.
Strop Cause:
Inability to accurately verbalise exactly which story. Explanation as follows:
"Which one?"
"Without the deer"

"No deer"

"You knooooww, sunny no deer"
"Eh?"
Stropper tantrum.
Strop Symptoms:
A sucker punch look of disappointment in own mother. Some little fisted duvet and pillow punching. Repetition of "You knoooww" in whingy tone.
Strop Solution:
Attempted to glean from Stropper which book by laying out choice before her. Incorrect solution. Strop increases in power. Stropper manages to extend vocabulary. "Not book, song"
Light goes on. The song always sung at night before Stropper drifts off into unsullied slumber. "You are my sunshine..." and of course, "You'll never know dear, how much I love you..."
