Matthew Williamson has a few busy months ahead of him. Last night saw the launch of his new coffee table book, which has been written by fashion doyen Colin McDowell. Pal Sienna Miller helped kick off his book launch festivities last night by wearing a Matthew Williamson cornflower blue gown hot off the runway from his recent spring/summer 2011 show.
There's also exhibition at London's Somerset House to accompany the lavish tome, which opens today and runs until the end of January. And as if that's not enough, there's news that his diffusion line, Muse by Matthew Williamson, is in production for an autumn/winter 2011 debut.
The new line is said to have a "younger sister" feel to his main line: "It's for a woman who wants feel-good clothing, and it will have the same aesthetic, DNA and surface signatures as the main line."
We simply cannot wait.
