An eighteen-month-old baby boy has fallen from the window of an eighth-floor Paris apartment and landed in the arms of a passer-by.
The dramatic fall happened on Monday when the baby was left in the family's flat with his three-year-old sister whilst his parents went out for a walk.
The child fell from the window, bounced off the awning of a ground-floor restaurant and then into the arms of a bystander.

He was taken to hospital but found to be unharmed.
The police have detained his parents for questioning.
