Kate Hudson Channels Classic 40s Glamour

Kate Hudson channelled old-school classic elegance at US Glamour's 20th annual Women of the Year Awards.

With pillar-box red lips and a mane of glossy waves cascading down one shoulder, the look was evocative of a 40s screen starlet - eat your heart out Dita Von Teese.

Kate teamed the look with gleaming skin, shimmering lids and of course, the obligatory winged black eyeliner.
