Cheryl Cole gave a whole new meaning to the phrase 'mousy hair' last night, appearing on the X Factor results show with her long red locks coiled up into a bizarre hairstyle evocative of Minnie Mouse's ears.
The weekly X Factor fashion face-off between Cheryl and Dannii has become almost as competitive as the singing contest itself but Dannii barely got a look-in last night with all eyes on Cheryl's Disney-like 'do.
But while Minnie Mouse may have been the inspiration behind Cheryl's updo, her revealing Georges Chakra gown with thigh-high split and keyhole neck was a far cry from the Disney character's babydoll dresses and there was not a polka dot bow in site.
