But, before you get too excited, it won't be a Willy Wonka golden ticket-style pick of people across the country.
A source told the Telegraph: "We're not talking about a public ballot or some sort of lottery for tickets, but Prince William is patron for a lot of charities, for example, and he will certainly want to make sure those organisations feel involved on the day."
OK, we'll refrain from sitting next to our letter box on a permanent basis for the next six months then...
