It has been revealed that the mother of tragic 'Baby P' – the 17-month-old tot who was tortured to death – is being allowed away-days from jail to visit her other children every month.
Tracey Connelly, 29, who was imprisoned after allowing her boyfriend, Steven Barker, to torture baby Peter to death, is said to be driven 270 miles from Low Newton jail in Durham to a London prison to meet with her four other kids on a monthly basis.
A prison source told reporters: 'It's unbelievable that she is being treated like this. She treated those kids like dirt yet is being allowed to spend time with them. This ties up three prison officers for a whole day and it makes me sick. She's being treated like a celebrity when she is a vile woman who let her child be tortured.'
The source added: 'Connelly says that the trips to see her kids are the only thing that keeps her going. It's a shame she didn't have such a caring attitude before her little boy was killed.'

Should Connelly be allowed to see her other kids?
