The lowdown: If you followed the BBC's The Great British Bake Off contest anywhere near as closely as we did you'll remember Ruth Clemens - the self-taught mummy baker and author of The Pink Whisk blog. She may have been pipped to the post on the show but her blog is definitely a winner, guiding readers through a whole host of delicious recipes with Ruth on hand in the comments section to answer any questions.
What we love: The clean presentation makes the recipes easy to follow and each is accompanied by photos from every step of the process so no need to wonder if what you've come up with looks as it should.
Look out for: Ruth is currently posting festive recipes for each of the twelve days of Christmas – so far we've had Christmas Monkey Bread, Snowman Cookie Lollies and mouth-watering Lebkuchen!
