30 January: Hailee Steinfeld in Prada at the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards
All our picks this week seem to focus on young Hollywood, and Steinfeld leads the pack by a mile. She looks like she's having fun in this bold Prada frock on the red carpet, and most crucially, she's dressed appropriately for her 14 years. Also - what an amazing dress! If only we could pull off horizontal orange and neon-pink stripes!

28 January: Anne Hathaway in Marni at the press day for RIO in L.A. This is a lesson in how not to wear a head-to-designer. The frilly trousers could have worked with a different top, and the striped crop top would have paired well with high-waisted trousers, but together this look is more silly than stylish. Love the shoes, though.

30 January: Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta at the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in L.A.
Lea Michele channels a Hollywood starlet from the golden age in this stunning dress. The whole look is absolute perfection.

30 January: Kate Mara in Herve Leger by Max Azria at the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in L.A.
This dress is an unflattering shape and the flesh-toned hue is too similar to Mara's skintone to work. We're also not fans of the frock's overly fussy bottom half.

1 February: Rachel Bilson in Burberry at the Waiting for Forever premiere in L.A.
Rachel looks gorgeous in this feminine take on biker style from Burberry's spring 2011 collection (we love the juxtaposition of leather harness-like straps with the floaty ruffles).

1 February: Leighton Meester in Proenza Schouler at the Nylon party for her cover issue at the W Hotel Downtown in N.Y.
Why Leighton would pick this shapelss frock (which ages her, and not in a good way) is beyond us.
