Red Carpet Report: Critic's Choice Awards

Believe it or not, the Golden Globes weren't the only awards in Hollywood this weekend.

On Friday night, Colin Firth and Natalie Portman dominated the Critics Choice Awards in Los Angeles. After they scooped the Best Actor and Best Actress gongs at the Golden Globes last night, these two are clearly the ones to beat this awards season.

Compared to the high-octane glamour of the Globes, the Critics Choice Awards are much more sedate fashion-wise. We still managed to find plenty of fabulous red carpet looks...

Kim Kardashian showed off a beautiful orange Vera Wang gown on her famous curves, while Julianne Moore wore a simple, black Roland Mouret frock with a deep neckline. Best Actress winner Portman opted for a flowy-ivory Ferre gown to cover her baby bump.

Nicole Kidman went for navy Nina Ricci - with tassles! - and Michelle Williams looked elegant in white, beaded Balenciaga. Sofia Vergara, who always brings it to the carpet, wore a metallic silver dress from Temperley London.

Annette Bening chose Georges Hobeika and Helena Bonham Carter wore a simple black corseted dress, accessorised with a bright red Lulu Guiness Swarovski-bedazzled clutch in the shape of a giant pair of lips.
