Which is why all eyes are on the 16 bright young things he's cast to model his spring-summer 2011 jewellery for Louis Vuitton. Jacobs has handpicked a slew of international stunners - from 24-year-old model, artist and DJ Alexandra Richards (daughter of The Rolling Stones' Keith) to Tokyo actress Rinko Kikuchi - to pose in the chunky cuffs, brightly coloured necklaces and cocktail rings.

The jewellery range consists of four different lines: Damier Perle, Eye Candy, Cosmopolitan and Cocktail Tropical and is designed for a younger customer. The colours are '60s-inspired while styles reference the Art Deco movement.
