Mulberry Founder Launches Upcycled Furniture Collection

Mulberry founder Roger Saul and his son Freddie are this month launching The Upcycled Furniture Collection – a unique range using individual pieces of reclaimed wood, reusable steel and sheepskin.

Having created the now world famous Mulberry fashion brand with hand-crafted leather belts and handbags, Roger went on to give us the quintessentially English interior collection Mulberry At Home. And now, in partnership with his son Freddie, who specialises in recycled metal sculpture and design, comes this very special collection of one-off pieces – available exclusively at Selfridges in London and Manchester.

As well as using one of a kind steel and oak pieces in their collection, Roger and Freddie have also created a number of soft furnishing pieces using sheepskin and wool from the rare sheep bred at their Sharpham Park estate. "I wanted to combine my passion for design with sustainability and innovation – I believe The Upcycled Collection has beautifully captured both these elements. Using both my and Freddie's experience, we have been able to create pieces which are truly individual and incorporate the natural resources we have available at Sharpham Park." says Roger.

The Upcycled Furniture Collection is available now at Selfridges' Oxford Street and Manchester Trafford Centre stores.
