The Lady Reveals First Black Cover Girl In 125 Years

Lorraine Pascale on the cover of The Lady

England's oldest women's weekly magazine, The Lady, revealed the first black cover girl in its 125-year history this week.

The magazine, which has been reworked in recent years to appeal to a wider audience, sees supermodel-turned-chef Lorraine Pascale gracing the front page of the current edition.

It's not the first magazine 'first' for the baking star - Lorraine was also the first black British model to appear on the front cover of American Elle magazine.

You can find Lorraine's cover and interview in The Lady magazine out now. Her cookery series Baking Made Easy is currently airing on BBC Two.
