If you were out and about in West London yesterday, you'd be forgiven for thinking London Fashion Week had started a week early if you happened to glimpse two supermodels catching up on the school run.

Claudia Schiffer and Elle MacPherson are both known for their effortless street style (we're sure the fact they're supermodels helps since every item of clothing happens to look great on them, but they really can put a casual outfit together with as much savvy as they can pull off a red carpet ensemble).
Claudia went for a casual, '70s-inspired ensemble (her signature): High-waisted jeans, a frilly blouse over a turtleneck and a green tweed-y jacket. She accessorised with a royal blue Mulberry bag, brown woven belt, sunnies (and her child's scooter).
Elle, often spotted in rock chick ensembles (leather trousers and fur gilets, anyone?), went for an even more laidback look with skinny jeans and loafers and a snug black jumper fitted over a long shirt.
We think both women look amazing - and let's not even get into how gorgeous their hair is. Talk about some intimidating fashion on the school run! Isn't it too early to look this fabulous?
