The hottest hairstyle on the 2011 BAFTA red carpet was twisted, really twisted. Braids replaced hair accessories as the trendiest way to add a bit of playful texture to a classic updo.
So who was pretty and plaited? BBC Three's red carpet host Edith Bowman went for a simple Heidi-inspired style. Presenter Jessica Alba used two wrapped braids to naturally create a Grecian style hair band. Meanwhile Sarah Harding, who got little else right with her BAFTA look, rocked a thick, messy French braid.
