WHY IT WORKS: What is not to love about a look that mashes up Betty Draper and Dr Seuss? This cartoon-inspired take on the 50s ladylike trend looks fresh and modern. We are loving the combo of the ultra dramatic eye makeup and baby pink lips.
RUNWAY THE REAL WAY: Skip the teasing and just create a normal ponytail. Finish it off by using a one inch section to hide the hair band by wrapping the base and securing it at the back. Use a liquid eyeliner to create that cat eye effect and loads of mascara to give a slight doll-like touch. Keep your lip colour pale, and lightly applied, but unless you are blessed with a natural sweetheart pout, don't imitate the shape.
