THE LOOK: 40s glam gets vamped up.
WHY IT WORKS: Chic, neat updos and minimal makeup on the eyes and cheeks made the bold lip shades even stronger. From cherry red to nearly black, the colourful pouts complimented Fulton's graphic prints perfectly.
RUNWAY THE REAL WAY: If you dare to go dark, this is the way to do it. Keep the hair and the rest of your makeup simple and be brave with your colour choice. An aubergine shade is a good alternative to black and a coat of gloss over the top of the lipstick will keep it looking fresh and vibrant.
