It was nearly a case of close encounters of the awkward kind yesterday as Brad Pitt and Jennifer was returning from a European promotional tour of her new flick Just Go With It - where she showed off a chic new bob hairstyle - while it looked like Brad was heading in the opposite direction, out of LA.
Both Jen and Brad - who were married from 2000 to 2005 - were working the casual look, with the actress rocking this season's camel coat trend, and Brad looking cool in a leather jacket and flat cap.

Would they have stopped for a little chat if they'd crossed paths? We like to think so...
