Catwalk Review: Prada A/W 2011/12

DESIGNER: Prada

INSPIRATION: 1930s Art Deco era.

TOP LOOKS: Drop waist dresses with low slung belts, coats with oversized buttons and check prints on jackets, skirts and dresses, shimmering dresses made from giant sequins in baby blue, mustard and burgundy and shaggy fur coats.

ACCESSORIES: Snakeskin clutch bags, suede belts, fur stoles, slim fitting knee-high boots with Mary Jane toes, wool skull caps and aviator style glasses.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: From sequin to snakeskin, this show had everything, however if we're looking for autumn/winter trends, check was predominant in this collection. The princess coats adorned with big, silver buttons screamed Prada sophistication and are already on course to be the must-have coat of next season. Start making your wish list now.
