DESIGNER: Moschino

INSPIRATION: Old school Hollywood glamour meets nautical chic.

TOP LOOKS: We had to pick our chins up from the floor when the gold lamé v-neck peplum dress stutted its stuff down the catwalk. Heads were also turned by the well-tailored nautical-inspired skirt suits, and the rose-print cocktail dress.

ACCESSORIES: Captain caps and elegant long gloves.

WHO WAS THERE: The ususal front row fashionistas.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: We just love Moschino's sense of humour: Sailor caps and manly tuxes feminised by rose-print lapels, bright pink cummerbunds and pussy bow blouses. But humour aside, the collection was a glamorous ode to the decadence of the 20s and 30s (drop waists, sumptuous gold and silver dresses, long gloves, ruffles and pleats), and offered a beautiful yet totally wearable array of suits, military-style coats, and evening glamour.
