Big, fussy hair usually dominates at award shows, but several of Hollywood's leading ladies broke that trend at this year's Oscars. Chic and simple bobs were one of the night's hottest hairstyles.
Scarlett Johansson went for a messy bedhead-inspired style, while Marisa Tomei opted for a shorter version of Veronica Lake's famous waves and Cate Blanchett picked a sleek and straight side-swept 'do to complement her stunning Givenchy gown. Three distinct takes on a classic cut but all equally stylish.
