DESIGNER: Dolce & Gabbana

INSPIRATION: Tomboys vs temptresses.

TOP LOOKS: Embellished blazers and coats, leather braces worn with tuxedo shirts and trousers, star print chiffon maxi-dresses, sequinned star-print minis.

WHO WAS THERE: Chanel Iman and Isabeli Fontana strutted their stuff on the catwalk.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: Masculine met feminine in Dolce & Gabbana's a/w 2011/12 collection as models were divided into masculine - sporting tailored suits with rockabilly quiffs and winklepickers - and feminine - clad in figure-hugging dresses with lace and sheer chiffon dresses - camps. Explorations of masculine-meets-feminine dressing is nothing new for the designers, but the duo have offered a fresh take on the motif for next season.
