DESIGNER: Nicola Formichetti's debut collection for Thierry Mugler.

INSPIRATION: 1980s tailoring enters the world of Lady Gaga.

TOP LOOKS: An all white, below the knee bodycon with pointed shoulders, turquoise leather trousers and a matching jacket with a fur trim, a sheer, animal print catsuit with fur arms (worn by Alex Wek), a peach coloured floor length dress with plastic casing over the shoulders and an array of the highest platforms to hit the catwalk.

WHO WAS THERE:Lady Gaga literally stole the show as she took her first turn on the runway.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: There was no escaping Lady Gaga in Mugler's show. The platforms, sheer insets in bodysuits and lurex trousers all pointed towards her statement style. However, the tailored pieces in black, peach and blue displayed a more sophisticated side to Formichetti's designs. We won't be surprised to see the pop star taking on these looks as soon as she can get her hands on them.
