Tired of trying to persuade your kids to eat their greens or sample new foods? One mum has found a solution to mealtime woes - turn your children's dinners into works of art!

Smita Srivastava, a graphic designer, acknowledges that 'making our little ones eat is not an easy task,' which is entirely the inspiration behind her blog, Little Food Junction.

She's turned feeding her fussy four-year-old daughter Nandika into a fine art. The most mundane of foods is magically transformed into animals, flowers and cartoon characters, all created to capture Nandika's imagination. Smita says playing with food becomes 'addictive' .

Check out the pics and see what you think.

Are you inspired to turn tonight's spag bol into an under water seascape or an abstract portrait of Gran?!
