Victoria Beckham, who is expecting her first girl, has been teetering precariously in stilettos throughout her pregnancy. And we're not talking about her red carpet wardrobe - she's been spotting in towering heels travelling through the airport.
Just yesterday, super-stylist Rachel Zoe, who is nine-months-pregnant, was snapped in L.A. wearing a black maternity dress and sky-high heels.
Obviously wearing the heels like a badge of honour, the celebrity stylist Tweeted: "Who said one can't rock 6 inch high leopard booties by Brian Atwood at 38 weeks pregnant!!"
While we understand why a star like Natalie Portman might want to sport a small heel on Oscar night (this is one of the biggest nights of her life, after all), surely six-inch-heels for a walk or a flight is a bit excessive... unless celebrities are immune to swollen ankles?
Leave a comment and let us know if you think fashion is worth all sacrifices or if the stars should just come back down to Earth for nine months.
While celebrities have a lot of pressure on them to look a certain way, you'd hope that during pregnancy comfort would come before fashion. Think again.
