If you haven't met 'The One' yet, perhaps you've asked yourself how long it will take. But ask no more, as a Facebook dating website claims to have come up with the answer.
According to a survey carried out by meeteez.com, which surveyed around 2,000 people, you're going to have to cover a lot of ground before Mr Right makes an appearance - at least if you're anything like the average woman, that is.
So before finding your soul mate you're going to have to have had four long-term relationships. That's right, four. You'll have had your first boyfriend when you were 15 and have dated nine men in the run-up to domestic bliss.
You're also going to have to have kissed no fewer than 22 men and have been cheated on four times. If that wasn't bad enough the survey suggests the average woman will have had her heart broken five times before she meets a partner she'll settle down with, and suffered six bad dates and six one-night stands.
The scariest survey finding, however, is that 15% of women say a bad date or relationship has turned into a stalker situation.
You've got to wonder whether it's all worth it, haven't you?
There again, when you do find 'The One', you'll know within the first four weeks.
It's worse for men though, the survey suggests. The average guy is more likely to have been dumped or cheated on by a partner or partners, and will have had his heart broken six times.
