newborn babyAt 29, many women are planning their first babies, but for Kelly John, it's knitting needles and babysitting duties on the horizon as she prepares to become Britain's youngest gran.

Kelly's 14-year-old daughter Tia is 16 weeks pregnant by her 15-year-old boyfriend, Jordan Williams.

The granny-to-be told the News of the World: 'My worst nightmare has always been that Tia would repeat my mistake and get pregnant young.

'(When I found out) I felt the colour drain from my face and all I could do was cry.'

The youngsters had apparently usually used condoms, but saw the baby as a blessing.

Kelly, who fell pregnant herself at 14, is separated from Tia's father, Shem. He lives six doors away with his 21-year-old partner and newborn baby in Bridgend, Wales.

Kelly and Tia live with Kelly's boyfriend Carl Zaccardelli, and three other children from a previous marriage. She has vowed to do 'everything' to help bring up her grandchild.
