A government report has revealed that ONE in 30 youngsters will grow up in a family with at least one of their parents on the dole.
The research claimed 330,000 children had seen their parents out of work.
The Work and Pensions Secretary, Iain Duncan Smith, vowed the coalition government would take action, blaming Britain's 'broken welfare system' for breeding a culture of worklessness. He said reforms would tackle the problem.
However, the Labour leader, Ed Milliband hit back saying any further cuts would make the situation worse.
