Hu Yunxing is only four years old but her stomach has swollen to an astonishing 1.06 metres in circumference.
Her abdomen began swelling when she was eight months old and, despite appointments at different hospitals, her family are no closer to knowing the cause.
In desperation, her father Hu Tianpeng, posted his daughter's photos and story on the internet and next week he and Hu will travel from their home in Yuncheng, Shanxi province of China, to the capital city Beijing's PLA No 2 Artillery Hospital.
Let's hope the cause of Hu Yunxing's misery can be diagnosed - and treated.
