A newly published study has warned mums-to-be that having x-rays during pregnancy could pose a cancer risk to their unborn children.
In a report published in the British Medical Journal, medics also claimed that women could be putting their babies at increased risk of developing the disease if the x-rays were carried out in the first three months of their pregnancy.
Experts at the renowned National Cancer Institute in Maryland, US, commented on the report, saying that doctors should remain 'cautious' about X-raying mums and babies.
