Breastfeeding Doll For Children Causes Outrage

Breastfeeding Doll For Children Causes Outrage

Would you want your child practising breastfeeding?

Well, thanks to a new doll, The Breast Milk Baby, little girls can have a go at breastfeeding, which the manufactures say will help children experience the 'magic of motherhood.' Yes, really!

The doll, which is available in America, comes with a bib for the child to wear, with pink flowers to indicate to the doll where the 'nipple' is on the child.

When held to the 'breast', the doll makes sucking noises while it mimics feeding, and then even cries afterwards if it's not burped.

Customers across the pond are far from impressed, with some branding the $99 toy

'disgusting' and 'totally inappropriate for young girls.'

But Dennis Lewis, U.S. spokesman for Berjuan Toys who make the doll remains positive about the toy, despite concern from parents saying, 'The whole purpose of The Breast Milk Baby is to teach children the nurturing skills they'll need to raise their own healthy babies in the future.'

Hmm, are you convinced? We bet you've got some thoughts on this!

A bit much? Or a fun toy, just oen step up from Tiny Tears?
