Yes, you heard correctly. The grand dame of British fashion, Vivienne Westwood is celebrating the big 7-0 today.
With countless collections, ad campaigns, spin-off products and worldwide boutiques under her belt - and not to mention an army of A-list fans - it's pretty safe to say that the landscape of British fashion just wouldn't have been the same without her.
From her punk era - including that King's Road Sex Shop - and those rebellious first collections in the early 1980s, to her now firmly established Anglomania, Man, Red and Gold Labels, and her tireless campaigning for a good cause - she's well and truly earned her space in the fashion hall of fame.
And she's showing no sign of slowing down now that she's entering her seventies...
But what do you get the woman who has everything? Well close pal Pamela Anderson has revealed that she's helping her celebrate the landmark birthday by buying her a plot of Amazon rainforest, no less.
'I'm really excited to support Cool Earth and give Vivienne such an incredible rainforest gift,' says the Baywatch star. 'She is one of my favourite people.'
