It could have potentially been rather awkward, but Courteney Cox and David Arquette were all smiles when they came face-to-face on the red carpet last night.
The recently separated pair were both out to promote new film Scream 4 in LA, and seemed determined to prove that there were no hard feelings by posing side-by-side for some snaps together.

So you can imagine that the pressure was probably on for Ms Cox to look pretty darn fabulous, to show David precisely what he's missing...
Well mission accomplished. The former Friend wowed onlookers in a figure-hugging lace-trim minidress and towering platforms, teamed with those impossibly-glossy raven locks of hers.
And while granted, the actress was perhaps wearing more make-up than usual, we couldn't help but notice that she was looking decidedly youthful and wrinkle-free for her 46 years.
She's admitted to trying botox in the past - commenting that she found it 'miserable' - so whether she's had a little extra help from the facial fillers again remains to be seen. But either way, there's no denying the girl looks good!
Scream 4 LA premiere

We have an inkling she may have felt the need to look drop dead gorgeous, considering that said ex was also going to be attending the same premiere... Mission accomplished!
Star of the original Scream trilogy, Neve Campbell makes a return for the fourth film in the horror franchise, and hit the red carpet in a luxe embroidered black dress and peep-toe heels.
We're sensing a sartorial theme at the Scream 4 premiere: it was the battle of the little black dresses, with the attendees clearly inspired by the horror theme of the evening. Anna Paquin joined in the slasher style in her peek-a-boo LBD.
Thank you Hayden! The Heroes starlet broke the LBD trend with a bold splash of scarlet in her eye-popping red mini. So simple, but so effective - this proves precisely why red frocks are reigning supreme with the A-list this season.
The lovely Emma Roberts, who also stars in Scream 4, struck a pose on the red carpet in a sweet textured mini with sheer panelling, and fierce block heels.
Kristen Bell also brought some much-welcomed colour to the carpet, in a bold blue dress and quirky summer sandals.
Out to support brother David, Patricia Arquette was also on the star-studded guestlist, joining the LBD-clad gang in this statement shoulder frock.
Alison Brie kept it classic for the LA premiere, in an elegant black and navy bustier dress and standout red heels.
Shenae Grimes also showcased some goth-glam styling, in a glittering green embellished top, and frothy ruffled skirt.
Marley showed off an impressive set of pins in her jewel tone micro-minidress, adding a smattering of gold accessories.
